Wednesday: Dining Room

Sometimes these days taking photos feels like such a chore. So much so that the dining room is the best I could come up with. Still, we won't live in this house for ever so I'll treat it as a memory shot and will try to do better from hereon in. But it's harder here than it ever was in Croatia, for various reasons.

We had a really pleasant evening with Shannon, our catsitter. We found her through a cat sitting website but she has done so much cat sitting for us that she has become a friend. She came over for a barbecue with her husband, Josh - they're also transplanted here, like us. In their case from Maryland, along with their 3 kids. Josh really reminds me of one of my best friends, Steve, both to look at and in mannerisms.
