The Trespasser

If you read Scandinavian crime fiction, you know there's a formula: chapter 1 = dead body; chapter 2 = detective introduced, normally a brilliant but tortured mind; chapter 3 = parallel story, and so forth. This Tana French is nothing like that. Yes, I have a murder in the first few pages (in Ranelagh!) but can't figure out which way this is going. Detective Conway, a true Dub, has me hooked.
