An evening with George...

Last night was George Michael's rescheduled concert in Birmingham after his illness last year.

LG Arena was packed and it was a great atmosphere, George seemed to enjoy himself and so did the audience! He's got a great voice and can really sing - he had an orchestra accompanying him as well as his backing singers.

Gary & I made it a 'mini-break' and had a delicious lunch in the Hotel du Vin first and stayed there overnight - it's the style to which we'd like to become accustomed, lovely hotel! We're going to do it again but next time I think I'll take the Monday off work, was a real strain getting up and going to work this morning!
