Gig at the Hug and Pint last night - the extremely talented singer-songwriter Angus Munro (whose accomplished overall singing includes a 4 octave range). It is almost criminal that this guy is not better known - he should be playing in far larger venues and on TV. His band are also top notch, with a special mention for Fraser Jackson on guitar who provided tasteful playing on all of the songs. To my ears there is a Steely Dan flavour to some of the material (intentional or not). If you get the chance, go and see this guy. Highly recommended!
