Connecting

Spiders webs are amazing. They are ever evolving. Spiders are constantly scanning their webs, ensuring that the webs are connected to strong anchor points and that there are no breaks. Webs work because they have inbuilt resilience  they allow for a certain amount of movement from the wind or passing flies. If they were fixed and solid they wouldn't work. So too for us. If we don't create space for resilience in our daily lives, in our interactions.. If we have fixed views, attitudes which are unbending, with no room for alternative views or experiences.. then when the wind comes, there will be not room for resilience. We should revisit our "webs" on a daily basis to ensure there is room for movement.
