Beach babies

We drove up to the Sunshine Coast this afternoon, and made the most of the sunny afternoon (23C) by changing into our cossies and heading straight to the beach! The water wasn't actually too cold so we all waded in and jumped over the waves in the shallow bit of the beach. Both the kids absolutely loved it and weren't scared of the waves at all - in fact, the wee man asked to go even deeper! He's developing quite an adventurous spirit on this holiday.

By evening, the kids definitely were worn out as it showed in their defiant and grouchy temperaments and poor Mama felt pretty exhausted (and grumpy, too!) dealing with the constant bad behaviour. Fingers crossed that everyone gets a good night sleep tonight so we can leave the grumps behind.
