Capitol Express

I took a day off work. First, a walk with the dog, followed by a great swim in the chilly pool, and then an afternoon bike ride to REI to buy myself a present: funky new bike shoes (see the extra) and new pedals. Some day I'll work myself up to a new bike. Mine is 10 years old this week (as were the shoes and pedals), and it's beginning to show its age. Only beginning, mind you, which is pretty miraculous.
