On Ice

Today I tried out my new skates. I had to re-tie them 3 times before I could move my feet and get somewhere. They're really different from my 'houtjes', wooden flats with a blade.

During our lunch break we (some colleagues from work and me) went to the Vogelplas near Voorschoten to skate. A great plan. Loved standing on the ice again. Loved being outside in the cold. The fog made the surroundings look wonderful and hid the highway from our sight. Winter wonderland!
