The rain has stopped for now, but it's still been a damp and cloudy day. I worked at home this morning and have taken this afternoon off, which gave me a chance to collect 9yo from school and to detour alomg Moorside and back through Tong Park along the way.

Ringlets were readily disturbed from the long grass, as was this Straw Dot but other than one fleeting meadow Brown, that was about it in the lepidoptera department today.
