Stone

My lovely Lady makes bespoke jewellery; mostly wirework, but occasionally, she gets things like this beautiful piece of polished stone in. I have no idea what type of stone it is or where in the world it might have come from. I just liked the pattern and colours of it.

Shot using an old 28mm M42 lens using extension tubes on an EF-mount adaptor. Manual focus is difficult without the old split-circle focussing aid in my old praktica and it's even more difficult when you're talking macro distances.
