Flooers

On our morning walk along the road today, Lucy and I saw kidney vetch (pictured), bird's foot trefoil, marsh marigolds, buttercups, daisies, monkey flowers, forget-me-nots, ragged robins, cow parsley, common spotted orchids in shades of lilac and purple, lady's smock, thrift, eyebright, yellow flag irises, plantains, sorrel, red campion, cotton-grass, red and white clover, tormentil, yarrow, silverweed, a dozen varieties of grass I don't know the name of, curlews, oyster-catchers, lapwings, redshanks, sparrows, blackbirds, starlings and gulls. So good to be home.
