Travel Documents

The theme for today's Abstract Thursday host by Ingeborg is Travel.

I just happened to have our passports to hand as they need renewing and Ann is waiting for me to take some photos, though i suspect she'll have to take mine.  The whole process has become easier with online renewal, though the system does vet your picture and lets you know if its not suitable.  It still costs the same of course.

So passports, travel, blip sorted.

This evening I went to The Bear Pit, a small theatre by the United Reform Church in Stratford, to see Shakespeare's The Wintier Tale. A story of jealousy, misunderstanding, and reconcilliation, a typical Shakespeare offering.  The Bear Pit hosts mainly amateur drama groups and tonight's presentation was by the local Secondthoughts group.  Although in modern dress it was faithful to the language but still easy to understand and follow the story, especially as I had read the synopsis on Wikipedia. See extra, the poster bears no resemblance to the actual stage play.
