Surprise!

You may be astonished and dumbfounded that these swans are not gliding along the waters of the Tyne.
They are in fact toonies. These belong to the trollied waters of Edinburgh Canal. But perhaps in my description I misjudge the present-day up-market canal that the council and the 'saving the planet' people have smartened and cleaned up.

Today Luke and Donald dropped me off at the bottom of Morningside Road and I spent 3 or 4 hours wandering to the top, charity shops being the main theme.
