A mild and mellow sunset

Busy day preparing resources, meeting at college, more writing to mark, etc.

A mostly cloudy day with a few shimmers of sunshine. I wasn't expecting a decent sunset but by around 6pm I really fancied a walk around the local lakes - haven't visited for almost a fortnight. After doing the circular walk I hung around for 10 minutes and was pleasantly surprised with this view just after 7pm.

This is Thrupp Lake, the larger of the two reclaimed gravel pits that are now looked after by the Earth Trust. See my many previous Radley Lakes blips for more info.
