Butchart Garden's Sunken garden

This was once a quarry, for limestone to make Portland cement. I am intrigued at how they have even got the quarry sides just perfect as they are pretty steep. About 30 buses loads of tourists plus many cars when we visited.

An amazing place rose gardens, a japanese area, formal areas, fountains etc etc
