A nice lunch break today wandering around in the Autumn sun. I wasn't that bothered about getting a portrait, and was going to submit a scene from Edinburgh of no particular significance. To be honest, I felt a bit photographed-out and only cared about giving my hand a rest by not carrying a big and heavy camera setup. So just the 50mm lens today.

This chap was also having a break and I liked the way his face was lit against the dark enclave behind him, and the stripes on his shirt against the railings. Having said that, I totally did not notice the far more obvious person walking away in the background.
