Home grown

At the moment I cannot recall who it was that once told me that you can grow new flowers if you plant the side shoots of these. I tried it a few times before when I'd bought a bouquet but never had any success with it until now. I have a few more growing in the same container on my balcony which are now producing flower buds but this has been the first one to open up and show some colour a few days ago.
