Flower Friday . . .Cafe Orchid

It's not often flower Friday is sitting right in front of me.  Lunching in a cafe today and this deep coloured orchid was on the table.  The afternoon was devoted to the hen and stag do's for the bride and groom.  Young people really put a lot of effort into organising these events.  Ice skating was fun but very cold as a spectator.  My days on the rink are behind me not that they ever really got going.  I think the highlight was  when a handsome young man wearing only an apron, cuffs and a bow tie appeared in the apartment.  He organised games and served cocktails.  Very quickly he was part of the group and a fun time was had by all.  They will all be out on the town now and those days are also behind me.
