Madchickenwoman at Cotehele

Backblip 24/06/17

Today we moved to the next holiday cottage and also arranged to meet Madchickenwoman at Cotehele. 

It was wet so we met for a cuppa and chat before moving into the house. It was really lovely to finally meet Mcw who I've been following on blip for ages 

The house was very nice although quite dark because of all the thick tapestries hanging on the walls. Next Mcw drove us down to the quay where we had lunch and more tea, but no cake. We had mooch up to the old mill and looked in one of the crafters shops. The sun came out whilst we were down there and the cameras came out for group photos (see extras). On the way back to the car we spotted a pair of swans with very fluffy cygnets (see extras).

We had lovely wander around the gardens including the rather wet orchard. The gardens were lovely and the view across to Calstock had vastly improved with the weather.

Soon it was time to say our farewells and drive to the holiday cottage. We had a wonderful day Madchickenwoman thanks for meeting us.
