Bouncing

It was Miss E's school fete today and we had a fabulous time!
It started at 2pm with the children performing dances they'd been working on. So lovely!
Miss E's class did Irish dancing which demonstrated more enthusiasm than skill but was very sweet to watch!
Then it was over to the Dog Show with Archie. For some unimaginable reason he didn't win Dog with the waggiest tail or Dog the judge would like to take home. I can only assume there had been some bribery going on!!!
He didn't cover himself with glory during the Fastest sausage eater competition either. He behaved as if the sausage was poisoned, dropped it onto the floor and nibbled at it like a mouse. Needless to say he didn't make it past the first heat!
The rest of the day was spent winning Cava and beer at the tombola, buying slush puppies and candy floss, bouncing on bungee trampolines, getting tea and cookies, winning coconuts at the coconut shy, winning jars full of sweets at the tombola, buying homemade ginger cakes and watching the Little Misses running about playing with their friends. Lovely!!
