Photos from Pollok Park

After meeting Helpet57 for coffee and chat I went into Pollok Park for a bit of a walk.  No rain, no wind and significantly warmer than yesterday .... ideal conditions for a wander through the gardens although some sunshine would have been welcome.

The water lilies continue to cover the surface of the pond but there was still enough water left for the water boatmen to continue their courtship.

Thanks to Mrs HCB's blip today I think my second extra shot is a gherkin plant. I photographed the flower in the Pollok greenhouse this morning but there was no identifying label .... thank you M.
