Flaming June

An odd day - the internet went off early last night followed briefly by the electricity this morning but lots achieved, namely sorting out the junk room my office and taking tons of cardboard and other stuff to the recycling depot. The sun came out too so much work in the garden. These orange beauties leap from a blue pot and take care of themselves.

A swim was attempted early this evening but the tide was out, the north wind was blowing and the sea was seriously cold. I had a gentle paddle and mooch long the strand instead.
