I'm now back home again after a very productive and entertaining conference with my colleagues and research students in Aberdeen. My blip is of the train that brought us south this afternoon. Soon after I took this shot Frances, Iris, LyndseyJ, Alicja and I boarded the service and caused all sorts of hilarity in Coach F while looking for five free seats located together.

This was after the final half day of the conference at which Alicja and Todd successfully presented the last two of our nine papers.

The other highlight of today for me was the final keynote. This was a fabulous paper on information behaviours of two very interesting groups: (1) urbexers and (2) gamblers. I hope to find some time in the next few days to write a review of the conference on my blog, and there will add some further details about this paper.

Oh, and I won a prize, as did Iris - to add to the one that Todd won at the doctoral colloquium on Monday!

Exercise today: just a little walking (again): 6209 steps.
