Oddie headed off to North Yorkshire for her weekend PE jolly leaving me with time on my hands!!!
This evening was spent on BBC iplayer watching the Art of Japanese Life. I was fascinated by the art of flower decoration. It's a very disciplined form that relies heavily on the use of negative space. It's quite a challenge (I wanted to bung loads of flowers in the vase)! 
So this is my blip for today. 
The other must see part of the programme is the calligraphy artist. Wow, just-wow! Although, I won't be trying the calligraphy art out in my kitchen! No need to, it already looks like Jackson pollock has been here! ;)
