Aire and Calder navigation river

Some people have Castles, some Stately Homes, others amazing monuments, we have Hickson Chemical works.

This is the point where after the river Aire/Calder comes through Castleford past the weir where Allison's old flour mill is, it joins the canal once more.
It's a nice walk right through from Lock Lane to Fairburn following the canal first then the river.
