Here Come the Drums

Some days all you do is make brownies and stuffed peppers and have a really good shower. And those days can be just as liberating as a day you might spend skydiving. Just as comforting as film marathons with friends. You can carry a warm weight inside of you that aches sweetly the way it's supposed to when you've fallen in love. Except that you didn't skydive or see your friends or get kissed by a beautiful boy.
You made brownies and stuffed peppers and had a really good shower and were happy. And that is more than enough.
