climbing clematis

I have an English neighbor who is an extraordinary gardner. Aside from the well designed flower bed at the front of her house, she is known for a huge display of clematis climbing her mail box by the street. Unfortunately due to her advanced age, she can no longer get down her driveway to the street, so she has her mail delivered in a box attached to the garage, and the clematis was abandoned. But now she has grown clematis all around that box, too!
