Monolith

We bought this ceramic sculpture earlier in the year at the Staithes Gallery and it didn't get unpacked until Andrew came to stay last weekend.  It's another piece by Michelle Fremantle, in fact the only piece of hers we possess that is not functional.  I think I feel for the surface texture and I like the idea of words on ceramics.  I debated whether to add this view of the whole piece or to opt for a close-up view.  Maybe I should post my close-up in the extra.
