Perfect Spheres
Today was another soggy, grey, cold day; one of those days when the thought of going back to bed is very attractive indeed.
In seeking a photo, I found these droplets of rain perched magically along the central vein of a young leaf which had yet to open fully. The plant is Passion Flower (Passiflora edulis). I could have photographed for hours as the curly tendrils were also catching these perfect spheres of water, and creating fantastic wild art. Sadly, the rain was too persistent and my camera was in danger!
