It was ...

...sunny when I woke up.

I cannot remember if I said, but I cleared out all the old cat beds and stuff. Then I got new fluffy stuff for Popeye. He has never really been into cat beds, like the other two were, and would sleep anywhere.

But since he is the remaining cat, I thought he deserved something special, so he has a new cat bed in the kitchen. He didn't take to it at first, but now loves it and I cannot get him to get up in a morning. He looks at me and then goes back to sleep...

But later in the day he joins me in the swing or in the potting shed!

Today's encaustic wax painting is with the iron on a scrap of paper. So this is my painting for today for my challenge to myself of a painting every day in 2017.
