Escapism

Today I have been mostly sunk into a rather good sci fi novel in the garden. It's been a bit like being on holiday!

On the downside - the cats killed a young great spotted woodpecker this morning. Just awful. Is the only way to stop them locking them indoors? They already wear bells... :-(
