Finished!

Except for the blanket stich around the edge.  I've enjoyed doing this, it was much easier than I thought it was going to be.  The blanket is beautifully soft.

Went out for a quick wander around the garden centre and the charity shops.  Didn't buy anything.

Came home with a meat pie and some potatoes.

Spent the afternoon tidying up.  Do I ever do anything else!

The temperature has dropped to about 20c, still not bad, but definitely getting cooler.
