Enduring Eye: Frank Hurley's images....

We went to see "Enduring Eye" at the National Library....  Frank Hurley's images of Shackleton's expedition to the Antarctic.
Amazing images...and well written panels...made this exhibition a real treat.

Not only that - there's a sign at the entrance that indicates "photography encouraged" ....... what could be better.  And as if to further illustrate the commitment to the visual arts they have glued one of Franks images to the spectacular stairs in the main entrance hall of the library....
