Oh Canada!
So today is Canada's 150th birthday. I know that is just a toddler compared to a lot of countries out there but we are quite proud anyway. I feel like Canada is the best place to live , for so many reasons. We are a very diverse and welcoming country and most people are very open minded and willing to help others. Sadly we are seeing more people showing hatred and intolerance to some minority's , just like the rest of the world. Right now they are the few and I hope it stays that way. It seems like hatred and intolerance are a disease that is spreading across the globe and it needs to stop!
We were in Barrie at the waterfront again today as Lucas is getting another tattoo! The ink is barely dry on his first one. Lots going on for Canda Day and tons of people out and about. I took a few shots of people. I am still not sure about it. Are you allowed to just take strangers photos or do you need permission. Well either way I took a few sneaky shots and had to go with Captain Canada here for my blip:)
Lots of fireworks around the neighbourhood tonight so Lucas and Hallie and I walked to the park to watch them. Then home for a guick soak in the hot tub. We have some great conversations out there. Now, time for bed. I am on holidays for two weeks now so it is so nice not to have to get up at 5:30.
