Purple haze

No idea what this lovely plant is with its purple blooms but we purposely crossed the street to see it and its buddies, they were all in a row outside an otherwise boring office building, purple petals like confetti on the ground where the blooms are starting to drop.  

This is the only picture I took today.  Very low key day, up late, sat around having coffee for several hours.  Lunch at a new (to us) sushi restaurant which was excellent.  Then a slow and meandering walk.
