A quickie
Today's blip will be quick and simple, much like tonight's quickie dinner of pizza, accompanied by a salad of spring greens, red onions, and snap peas, paired with a lovely Shiraz. This trio has, over the years become my "go to" quickie meal, occasionally overshadowed by my next favorite quick-yet-tasty meal, the rotisserie chicken, paired with salad and baby red potatoes. The bonus with either of these dinner options?
Leftovers.
Give me a roast chicken sandwich with dijon mustard, sliced avocados with crisp lettuce on rye bread, an ice-cold Hoegaarden, and it's all over in 3 minutes.
