Thaw

The Boss went to the Snow Farm again today. This was a bit inevitable as I noticed that he had bought a pair of snow shoes a couple of weeks ago and was bound to want to use them. Please don't feel sorry for me, left, abandoned , neglected and unwalked with nothing to do except lie in the sun baking and make the occasional trip to The Bossess office for a cuddle before returning to the sun and baking. This a tough job but someone has to do it. The Boss has promised a mountain trip tomorrow so I will settle for that.
The Snow Farm was all go. When The boss and acyclinggranny got there they were delighted to find it almost deserted as all the overseas teams will have left and the season is drawing to an end but they still had a great time with a 10k walk in the still white covered hills and a ton of very fresh air and the usual amount of camera clunking. The Boss reports that there is something very special about walking in snow covered mountains in the sunshine in total silence except for the squeaking of the shoes on the snow. The action did heat up a bit and they actually met about 5 people during the day but missed out on the usual hot chocolate as the café was closed for the season and it was too hot anyway. Acyclinggranny was in shirt sleeves.
