the boys are back in town

This was the reunion weekend of The Royal Pioneer Corps. Held at the Royal Court Hotel near Coventry there were over 162 ex and current serving soldiers plus partners.
The reunion has been held at the hotel for the last 3 years after the closure of the barracks in Bicester...these guys need no excuse for a good session at the bar, much alcohol was consumed. It was happy hour prices all weekend.
The little caravan at the front was made by one of the Pioneers for the auction which was held last night...it fetched a bid of £395...
A service was held on the lawn after which most of us headed back home with the exception of the die hards who are staying until tomorrow
