On the shelf

Some films are like good books, you want to revisit them time and time again. There are some films which you might only watch once, some that need you to do some work to watch them, some which make you laugh and some make you cry. Sometimes an easy watch is great, the fun ones which you have watched for years and which you can recite the script to, have their place too. Some of the best are timeless like Brassed Off, which still speaks to us today and makes us reflect on our own lives and those of the people around us .
