Tamworth Staffordshire.

The War memorial and arboretum, I've wanted to visit it for awhile and finally got round to going.
The place is huge with different memorials across the sight.
Shot at Dawn the statue blindfolded and hands bound, stands facing hundred of wooden posts all with names of servicemen who had been shot. I didn't see one over the age of 30.
Roo and I checked out the bunker on the Christmas Truce memorial.

Roo took a nap in one of the bunks.
The other statue is part of the main memorial which takes centre space its huge.
The statue is opening a door and inscribed it says"Through this spaces a shaft of sunlight falls on the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month.

What a beautiful tribute
