Crawley Woods
Travelled to three locations today looking for a blip. Wasn't very impressed with any of the images I took. So I'm feeling a little bit uninspired at the moment. I find that with painting and drawing though - I have a period of intense creativity, then I drop out of the zone for awhile, then lift back into the zone. And so it cycles on and on.
The urban bushland adjacent to where we live is actually called Tank Hill. I renamed it Crawley Woods kinda in memory of the woods that I used to have to negotiate when walking to a camping spot on the South Wales Gower Peninsular coast, when I was a young lad. Ah dear, memories, memories. The name is very appropriate though - it really is "crawley".
The image above was shot with the Hipstamatic app on my iPhone. I used the John S Lens, Blanko Freedom 13 film, no flash. I finessed the image in Lightroom 4.1
:-))
