The rural's centenary

I had the pleasure of attending afternoon tea at the Buchan Braes in Boddam with a big crowd of other "Rural" members for the Peterhead area. Like hundreds of other women across Scotland we were celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Scottish Women's Rural Institute in 1917. It was a super afternoon and great to see so many younger women attending. We need to get some of these to join our merry band in Mintlaw!
