Mrs Owen's Tree

We've friends staying with us for a couple of nights and Mrs BB sent me out to get some milk. Knowing time woud be short to get a photo I headed up the local mountain for some photography.

The tree in the blipfoto, owned by a friend Gladys Owen, has always been a fave of mine. A long time dead it's very characterful. I was surprised to see that they're starting to cut it down so stopped and took a 15second long exposure.

Getting home with the milk, whilst waiting for the friends to arrive, I've gone to work and turned it into a watercolour. I hope you like it. Looks like I won't be seeing it for much longer so good to get a last photo of it!
