Little house by the brewery
To the red country and part of the gray country of Oklahoma, the last rains came gently, and they did not cut the scarred earth.
I slept poorly and awoke to drizzle and a basket of breakfast: freshly squeezed orange juice, warm rolls, cheese and coffee.
The day's class went well. There were the odd problems with versions and typos, but everyone was happy and moderately enlightened. And then I returned my C1 to the lot at the airport and waited for my flight.
Edinburgh airport had had a power failure this morning, but we landed on time with minimum disruption. Claire was asleep when I got home, but there was a message that we were leaving for the west coast at 6:30am in the morning. Grim.
