On Location

Took a peek at filming locations around Chatham Dockyard today, which in recent years has seen productions from Call the Midwife to Victoria and Abdul to The Crown, The Halcyon, Mr Selfridge and many more.

Heard about the challenge of filming in a submarine while staying open to the public as just one example of the many hurdles the team have to navigate but they have it down to a well oiled machine.

Took a walk inside the 400 year old ropery which stretches a quarter of a mile and I was reminded how fascinating our naval history is in the UK.

Note to self to return again soon as a visitor!
