The Old Croft

A friend of Mike's is slowly but surely clearing out his old house.  He's not in the best of health and moved into the village, but goes back to the old family croft house every day to do a bit more sorting out.  

Today Mike and I gave him a lift down there and we ended up taking away all sorts of bits and pieces, which we thought were interesting and he thought were bruck, ie rubbish!  Still, for a few pounds and a few bottles of beer, both parties ended up happy!

Some fascinating finds, mostly nautical, which will no doubt feature on these very pages in the weeks to come!
