Bugatti type 46

Having tea with 91 year old family friend. Her husband took and developed hundreds if not thousands of photos. This one, still on the wall of the study, is of the grill of the Bugatti Type 46, which my father bought as a discarded hearse in the back of a garage. The owner had a recent tax bill, so the car was sold for £35 (1950s).

It never looked as good as that when the cleaning and polishing was done by us kids!
