Hestercombe

Visited a magnificent garden near Taunton. At one side an 18th century landscape garden and on another an amazing Lutyens/Jeykell garden. I've never been anywhere that the different styles have worked so well together. So even though Fountains Abbey, Stowe and Stourhead are more impressive landscape gardens this is now vying for top spot in my own top 10. (Which will doubtless change tomorrow.)
