First graduations back in the McEwan Hall. Looking sumptuous following the big refurb ( http://edit.ed.ac.uk/articles/issue/3/inside-mcewan-restoration-2/ ) and a miracle it was finished on time. Apparently they were working pretty much through the night all weekend to get it ready!
Two ceremonies today and all went well....a lunch and dinner as well made for a long day though, but interesting conversations about chimpanzees, sustainable fisheries in the tropics, moth infestations, visiting South Georgia and the arctic, and how Prince Albert of Monaco is interested in oceanography.
