14-spot ladybird
Today's entry is a 14-spot ladybird that I noticed walking around in my shopping bag when I was waiting for my turn at the post office. It must have landed in it before I went inside and I managed to keep it down in the bag until I was outside again. Fortunately it didn't fly off until after I'd taken a few photos.
The extra is a sunflower that was growing in front of someone's house on my walk home.
I managed to get to work considerably easier than I thought I was going to. When I was waiting for a bus at the station, the brilliant idea hit me that I could take the train to the next station, which is only about a 15 minute walk from work. I don't know why I never thought of doing that before. It cost me € 2,20 for the journey there and back but in my opinion it was money well spent because I was spared the stress of wasting a lot of time waiting for a bus that I didn't know when it would appear, if at all.
Sadly, my waiting for Rosie's urn continues because when I went to the post office after work to collect the parcel that failed to get delivered on Friday, it was not even where it should already have been since Saturday morning according to the notice left in my letterbox. I had to give my phone number to the post office employee and was told to wait for their phone call tomorrow. She also said to contact their customer service if they didn't phone me.
A big thank you for all the comments and stars on my Hydrangia blip. Apologies again for my own lack of comments.
